Tunturia
Tunturia is one of those bands that just seems to exist. They’re just there. All Post Rock fans know their debut “Maps” from 2007. A soothing mix of classic Post Rock sounds, ambient sound-scapes and a good measure of samples. Not that the folks behind Tunturia are shy, they use Facebook and other social media, but they’re subtle as opposed to in-your-face. The four man band hails from Canada and in the same way that their music creeps into your brain and snuggles down into a cosy corner of your temporal lobes, their band name will burn itself into your memory after you’ve listened to the beauty of their music.
