The Echelon Effect is the project of Dave Walters from London, UK. In late 2009, Dave sat down with his laptop, planning on making a track that appealed first and foremost to himself. That track became 4, and were put onto MySpace. People listened and commented, so Dave made more. 2 further EPs later, he was doing remixes for bands such as The Appleseed Cast and City Breathing. Reunion, the debut album, was created and made available digitally. Not only was it the culmination of a phase in Daves musical career, it was the point where he wanted to give something back. Snippets of voices of those who had supported him thus far were incorporated into the release, creating a surreal narration. More requests for remixes (God Is An Astronaut, Codes In The Clouds, Our Ceasing Voice, Good Weather For An Airstrike) came in, and The Echelon Effects fan base grew. In March 2010 The Echelon Effect began work on ‘Mosaic’, the second full-length, featuring Steve T on drums.
