Mooncake
Hailing from Moscow, Mooncake are different from most “western bands”. They don’t tour the world, however they have shared stages with Caspian, Explosions in the Sky, God is an Astronaut. They don’t try and imitate what’s happening within the genre, they stay true to their music. A delicate balance between catchy melodies and emotional scapes, their music is as identifiable as it is encouraging. They compose their tracks based on their experiences themselves, and find an audible output the perfect way to transpose that to the listener.
