Collapse Under The Empire
Collapse Under The Empire hail originally from Bremen (Chris) and Lübben (Martin) and are both in Hamburg, where they met and began to musicize. Not intending to create Post Rock, but rather to dabble in sound scapes for screen productions, their experiments took them in a different direction. Systembreakdown, their first release, was testing the water. Little did they know that their sound was original, but well within the borders of Post Rock, and their decision to remain in that area was wise. Find a Place to Be Safe, as well as Sirens Sound received a fantastic amount of positive reviews from their steadily growing fanbase, as well as critical acclaim from press and the blog world. 2 years on, and in advance of their most mature album to date, Collapse Under The empire are releasing a Split EP with Mooncake, titled Black Moon Empire.
